finally i have decided to grace the worldwideweb with the wisdom of my words

today tammy and i embarked on a journey of no return
by that i mean 5 hours without eating or peeing (AHHmazing for me; i know) with only one measly drink of juice while we were gutting (i dk if thats even the correct term) squid which nonetheless made the drink less appetizing

and so much for looking forward to going with a friend; hardly SAW the lovely tammy =(

today i learnt a great deal:
- i am never ever getting into the hospitality sector; its like running a marathon and i was only in it for a fraction of the race
- the inner workings of a restaurant are very interesting; such as the storage place in the carpark, and all the hidden alleyways
- that nodding makes you look like an idiot; the head chef was constantly talking to me (and that is how i now know all the trade secrets of eurolounge such as how to make beerbatter, garlic butter and pizza dough =) and he has some exotic accent making everything harder to understand. i figured if i just nodded while he was talking id be fine, but it doesnt work when hes asking you a question repeatedly =S
- HOW TO GUT AND QUARTER A MILLION FROZEN SQUID. a lifelong skill that really has enriched both me and tammys existences.
- chefs are like machines. they never need to pee. or stop. or drink. or sit.

the food at eurolounge looks really good/
