Qualities of a good busdriver

A good bus driver:

1. Lets you on the bus for free when you forget your bus pass
2. Opens the back door when you reach your destination so you don't have to walk all the way to the front of the bus and/or wait for everyone else to get off first
3. Does not drive right to the end of the bus bay, but stops right in front of the steps to save you lots of walking
4. Doesn't get angry and make you move down when the bus is already 99% full and you're standing on the DO NOT STAND bit
5. Makes everyone else move down so you can fit on the bus, rather than drive off without you
6. Does not close the door in your face just after you ran 100 metres to catch the bus
7. Stops and waits for you to reach the bus when he/she sees you sprinting towards the bus because you are late
8. Speeds through all the yellow lights so you can reach your destination faster
9. Does not play bad music at a million decibels for the whole bus to listen obligingly to
10. Says have a nice day when you get off the bus and say thank you!

If you plan on pursuing the career path of being a busdriver (who apparently get paid almost as much as teachers) please keep these points in mind.

Sometimes the kindness of a busdriver can make your day. =)
