Alright, this blog is about Rice! Not the type of rice you eat, but FYI, it stands for Rice Inter-Church Evangelism, and for those people who are saying its racist, its really not. Its just cos its run by a group of asian churches, and also the logo which is rice is chinese, is also a cross with rays emanating from it. (see below for picture)
So, hopefully most of you have heard of Rice some time in the last few weeks at school, maybe someone has given you a card thingo, or you remember last year when there were Rice posters all over the walls of the maths block. And if you haven't heard of or seen the fliers, this years ones look like this: (click to enlarge!)

Basically, Rice is a Christian organisation, and it holds 2 events for youths/highschoolers every year to introduce people to what Jesus and the bible is about and things like that.RICEfever: held on a saturday daytime, at Sydney Olympic Park, basically there are lots of different stalls and games, and some rides, and you just walk around to the different stalls, and there's also food and a couple of talks, and some Christian bands. Kind of like a fair/carnival i guess.
RICErally: this is the saturday night after RICEfever, you go to the Sydney Entertainment Centre for a couple of hours and you watch things, and listen to a talk. I don't really get why you pay so much for it and it costs more than the other, but its mainly cos the place is tonnes expensive to hire. But the talks usually pretty good.
PICS FROM RICE o8!

And also, this is the girl we saw at Rice last year, who looks exactly like yoosung.
(bad quality, but still a clear resemblance)

Sooooo, if you're interested in going to either or both of the Rice events, or if you have any other questions, jst leave a comment.
