God must have a weird sense of humour.
As if it isn't enough that i had to injure myself after the first event of the athletics carnival, hence placing me at a massive disadvantage for the next 1 and a bit days, and also prohibiting my ability to run and walk properly....
This afternoon i got off the bus, and just minutes ago i had been thinking to myself how the sun and blue skies were beginning to come out, and it started sprinkling slightly. So i got my umbrella out, thinking that it was just a light shower and it would soon pass. But, nooo, because as soon as i got my umbrella out, the rain stopped, and 2 minutes later, it was absolutely pouring! The type of pouring where you can't see one metre in front of you. The type of pouring where the water gets into your shoes and your feet are absolutely soaked. And my tiny umbrella only did enough to keep my hair dry, and my jumper, my shorts and most of me got very very wet and cold.
So i continued walking the approx. 1km home, all the while the rain getting heavier and heavier, occasionally having to jump over mini rivers that ran down the sides of the roads. 1km never seemed to take such a longggg time, and also the fact that i had to limp all the way didn't help.
And i finally got home, and there was my fkn brother grinning at me, pretty much completely dry, because he got a lift home from the busstop with his friend. Far out.
Oh and i also got home to find that my bedroom roof apparently had holes in it and it was leaking.
Well, at least its better than the time that i was walking home in pouring pouring rain and it was so windy that my umbrella broke.
And at least i had an umbrella.
